I'm not even that much of a fan of The Boys, but the possibility that THE moment fans have been waiting for years will probably be very toned down or may not even happen in the show, gives me some massive red flags.

Somewhat, I blame the Trump administration for that.

• My customized Lawnchair 15 homescreen, close to the stock/Pixel launcher experience, but keeping the thematic coloring with my werewolf OC, Wolfgang

• My custom Nova Launcher homescreen for years, also keeping the look as close as possible to the stock Android experience (but without the themed icons because they don't work well on Android 11)

It sucks having to abandon Nova Launcher after more of a decade being their loyal user, but i can't defend the directions the new owners want to take the app.

Luckily, Lawnchair (while not 100% perfect) is one of the better options out there that suits my personal taste in Android customization.

I was one of Nova's most loyal users for over a decade; I even bought the Prime version to have complete control over the launcher.

It's sad to see such a staple of Android customization fall like this because of greedy companies.

I was already frustrated by how Branch fired the entire original Nova dev team when they bought the app, and left the launcher in zombie mode for so long. Now that Nova is in Instabridge's hands, things seem to have gotten even worse than before.

I've recently started using Lawnchair because of it.

The news that they're going to change the Nova Prime payment model pissed me off so much. What will this mean for the users who had already paid for Prime, like me? Are they now going to force me to pay a monthly fee to use all the features, like Smart Launcher???

That was enough for me.
