Sill is having some issues with atproto oauth connections. Working on it, hopefully will be functional soon.
Great to hear! I suspect it was a combination of did:web migration and an existing account in Sill. I've successfully handled account migrations before when someone changes their PDS, but not when the did itself changes.
I'm mostly following the reference implementation, but I think this caught an edge case for when I'm deciding whether you're a new signup or an existing login. github.com/bluesky-soci...
That's basically what I just did via the database. There might still be some stale state/session data around, but let's see if that works first. Sorry for all the hassle and thanks for continuing to try!
Seeing your errors come through, @fry69.dev. I wonder if it's because you had an account before and the issuer is getting confused. Let me try some stuff in the database.
That account is also served by pds.tylerjfisher.com, which is running the latest release of the reference pds implementation
Okay, I setup a did:web account @euphonos.studio, and I upgraded all the OAuth dependencies (I was pretty behind, turns out). It worked fine for me.
Huh, yeah, something's going wrong with my OAuth session store when a did:web hits the callback. So it's not the did resolver as I expected, I resolve to get you to your PDS, which is working.
Weird! Well, glad it's working, let me know if you have more issues.
Hi, what's the issue you're having?
Oh no! I have a well-known did resolver but it may be that the DNS resolver fails first, and I'm racing those resolvers. I'll work on this and get a fix out, thanks for reporting!
Hello Sill users! We've updated our authentication flow. You can now login directly to Sill with your Atmosphere (e.g. Bluesky) handle, or your Mastodon handle. You no longer need to manage a password with us. Read more here: blog.euphonos.studio/3mdfshzx2uk2c
Hello, @sill.social went down overnight. Sorry for the trouble, bringing things back online now.
Sill's bookmarks have a new update! By using the community lexicon for bookmarks, you can publish Sill bookmarks to your PDS and interoperate with other bookmarking apps across the ATmosphere!
Custom notifications are so powerful in @sill.social. Define your own parameters, and get emails or an RSS entry when those parameters are met. For example: when 5 or more people in my network share a URL from defector.com, send me an email.

Had a small network hiccup with Sill. Should be back up and running. Backfilling all accounts now (though only missing ~20 min of data, shouldn't take long)

You mention wanting support for other federated networks. What else are you using that you would want to see in Sill?
Quick demo on the use case for more link data in @sill.social. Browse by publication, author, and topic, and see all the links in the history of your network, plus what your network said.
This is only working locally right now, still need to figure out production scale. Probably some DuckDB.
The Sill filters UI, which offers: - a search bar - a minimum shares input - a sort by select input - a time range input - a reposts filter - a service select input - a list select input
Working on a rework of filters in @sill.social. Changes:
1. New "minimum shares" filter. Really useful in conjunction with sorting by new.
2. Grid layout to make more efficient use of space.
3. Filter state is saved to local storage, so when you return, Sill remembers your filter state.
Want your own custom notification feed? Head to sill.social/notifications to get started. You can set up all kinds of filters: all links from specific domains, keyword matching, share thresholds, and more. Available via email or RSS.
And a secret weapon: Sillβalthough its usefulness is a function of how many smart people one follows on Bluesky. Here's a snapshot of your Square columnist's Sill alerts yesterday morning. The screenshot shows over a dozen emails from Sill in a 4-hour period, all links about Chicago.
@charliemeyerson.com talked about how he gets his news for @chicagopublicsquare.com.
I'm pretty confident Charlie is @sill.social's #1 user. He has a custom notification feed that sends him an email anytime someone he follows posts a link about Chicago.

Preview of a compact layout in Sill with images, descriptions, and toolbars removed.
Playing around with an (optional) even denser compact layout in @sill.social. Thoughts?
A screenshot of a Sill notification group for a notification called "Basketball links". It is delivered via RSS and has two filters, one on the list name, which should equal "Basketball", and the number of shares, which is greater than or equal to two.
Added a quick new feature to @sill.social today. You can now set up custom notifications based on lists/feeds. So, for example, I now have an RSS feed that updates whenever 2+ people share the same link in my basketball list.
Notifications are a powerful way to make social media work on your time.
Today on the blog: How @sill.social was able to generate new signups by running sponsored content on @aendra.com's news feed, and how our twist on an old business model will help build a better social web for the next generation
