Take PIP away, and you push many disabled people actually OUT of work entirely. Then what? More unemployment, more poverty, less tax revenue.
Ironic, eh?
Disabled people are not disposable. PIP needs reform, yes โ but one rooted in dignity, not cuts.

PIP isnโt about being in or out of work โ itโs about being able to live. Many disabled people rely on it to stay in work, often part-time, because of the extra hidden disability living costs, the barriers we face, and the impact of our conditions - flare-ups, burnout etc.

when I last saw them, they couldn't sign at all and at the weekend they were 80% following most of our conversation between other Deaf signer pals and was signing more than they were speaking and it was just ๐ฅบ
Coming around from being on anesthesia post-surgery to have a nurse ask my interpreter if "he can read why does he need an interpreter" was not The One ๐คจ
