Disabled people are not disposable. PIP needs reform, yes — but one rooted in dignity, not cuts.

PIP isn’t about being in or out of work — it’s about being able to live. Many disabled people rely on it to stay in work, often part-time, because of the extra hidden disability living costs, the barriers we face, and the impact of our conditions - flare-ups, burnout etc.

At Pride recently, my QPP surprised me by starting to learn BSL 💜

when I last saw them, they couldn't sign at all and at the weekend they were 80% following most of our conversation between other Deaf signer pals and was signing more than they were speaking and it was just 🥺

Coming around from being on anesthesia post-surgery to have a nurse ask my interpreter if "he can read why does he need an interpreter" was not The One 🤨
