Night shooting isn't easy with fost-moving object so a lot of the shots from here sucked, but here's a few that didn't.
Anyway- twas a good night.
As we're driving home- all the Down (eastbound) signals are still lit green, so there HAS to be a train. HAS to be. Go to one of usual (better by daylight) haunts and hang for a couple more minutes: bingo.
15 minutes later, signal's still green- no sign of the train. Catch another A set, start heading back.
The down main was green so we hung around. Regular A sets going through on the suburban lines.
Last night: the post. Was out with @rotogote.bsky.social doing noise level metering in the car, spotted a train going under a bridge, gave chase and got ahead to catch it.
Somewhere between the Center and Right if these are my choices. Though, truth be told my real railfanning artist is Terrene Cuneo. Grew up on those paintings and ho boy, was he a master of catching the drama and magic
had this N Scale decal set for sometime, and figured it was time to at least try to apply it to a cheap MicroTrains boxcar I picked up at a train show
Great learning experience! I went too heavy on the alcohol on the door to soften the decal which lead to cracking, but for a first try not too bad
[sighs] I'm never going to live in a house this nice with a shed this big and a 7.25" gauge railway on it.
