Today I went to @mwug.uk and met two new faces.
Their curiosity about the group and working their way into the web industry reminds me of myself when I was starting out.
It also reminded me the power that a community has in building relationships and fostering curiosity and communities.
Also just realised I was tagging the talks earlier with a typo in the #.
So on brand it hurts. Lol
Kind of annoyed the last train home is at 10pm but I have to say after a while away from the open source community,
I ducking love the open source community.
Thank you to everyone I met at #PfP #ProtocolsForPublishers for the chats and the talks.
I needed this. Iβm inspired again. Stay in touch
The biggest barrier of sharing data was control. And can they change their mind?
Value flows back to the people who created it.
βHoarding makes everyone poorer.β
βWeβre in a position of data isolation.β
Itβs understandable for blocking and defending the data, but it has consequences.
The internet is less than 1% of the worldβs data.

Lovely to be at the #PfP London event.
I miss Fosdem. Really should put it back on my calendar.
Wtf. I just booked train tickets to London for next week and it cost me for a advance day return Β£70.
Granted Iβm travelling off peak hours. The peak hours are eye watering.

#webdev were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should.

The self sabotage is at an all time high. But so is the support of people around me to counter it.
Never underestimate how you impact others because so much of the tech community have helped build me into me and Iβm grateful everyday.
Iconify is an #opensource library of icons - they also have an API which you can use to get the icon SVG.

Why do I always underestimate how long it takes to write stuff?!
Especially since most of my day is spent planning, designing and writing down my thoughts on various things at work.
Oh yea, thats going to take me 30 minutes -
β days later.
My memory please.
I would if I knew how. Had a look around and couldnβt find a way.
Shame really that thereβs no not spam button.
This is too funny. Also not spam. Just some very good satirical posts.

It's late for 2025 accomplishments, but honestly getting into Fast Company for my stupid chickens is up there.

For those joining Bluesky from the Bad Place: welcome.
Yes, you could/should have made the decision sooner, but it is never too late to make a good decision.
And there is a lot on this site which will remind you of the Bad Place before it was bad.

Picture of Petya on stage speaking and giving her talk. There are rows of peoples head in front of her and a screen with the slide above her head. The slide says Open Source in pink bold text.
Nice to be back at #wcsofia. Really enjoy listening to the talk in the local languages. Itβs surprising how much I can guess.
