Finished the GoW Valhalla DLC last night. I feel like I'm conflicted on the story of the Norse games. I don't think the plot is that... good? There are a lot of holes and shaky motivations in both games.
But I really like what they've done with redeeming Kratos and his journey. Its a strong finish.
Their screens are rounded on top and squared off on the bottom WHO ALLOWED THIS?!

Sera and Leena would probably lose their minds trying to adapt to the GoW Ragnarok world. Leena especially with no more tech to mess with.

A game that's basically God of War but instead of being an angry Greek man killing the Pantheon, you're an angry cubicle worker killing the board of directors.
I really hope they don’t graft this system on to the Greek remakes. It would quite literally ruin those games.
Ironically I think the combat set up works way better for Atreus, since they basically grafted a melee combat system on to a third person shooter set up this entire time. Whole thing works a lot better with a bow.
Just no-life’s a playthrough of God of War Ragnarok (finally. Got it on sale for $20). Still not a fan of the combat compared to the Greek trilogy, but it’s still fun, and the story was pretty good. Worth what I paid for it.
My biggest disappointment was Heimdall couldn’t die twice.

Love how I don’t necessarily need a new laptop right now, but market conditions are forcing me to consider buying something I don’t need now, or waiting until I do and having to pay 2-3x what I would have because some billionaires haven’t been guillotined yet.
I tried it last year, liked the UX, very clean. It was based on an older Ubuntu though, so my GB Operator didn’t work with it when vanilla Ubuntu did. No idea if that’ll cause more issues in the future. It was on a secondary PC so I didn’t sweat it too much.
