A moody picture looking down one of Turin's streets. Two files of parked cars go down the entire length of the road; a row of warm white street lights follows their path, enveloping all in warm light, contrasting with the lapis lazuli blue sky above. The picture looks almost symmetrical vertically, were it not for the continued file of buildings on each side of the road: those on the right follow the art nouveau architectural style, whereas those on the left adopt a more solemn and sharp style.

A night photo of a road. Its wet pavement reflects the colored light of red traffic lights and the blue and pink neon sign of a restaurant, also in the frame. Tram tracks run the length of the road.

A screenshot of the inside of a closed bar. The main subject of the picture, a coca-cola fridge with a bright red neon light running along the entire edge, proudly displays its contents, a variety of beverages. The light radiating off of it lets us see the various stools and tables, as well as the edge of the counter. Because the photo was shot through a window, the zebra crossing from the road in front of the bar is reflected on it, as well as the signage of a bank.

A photo of a thermal power plant. Its weird metal structure, made up of aluminium fins, as well as a silo right beside it, reflect the light from an incandescent street light right out of frame. At the center of the frame, a tower (probably an exhaust stack) has a bright red light at the top, to make sure passing aircraft don't crash in it. Despite it being night, you can still see some clouds, breaking up the deep deep blue sky.

#8/#9: An ETR 425 train (Trenitalia Jazz) and an ALe 501-Le 220-ALe 502 (Trenitalia Minuetto), both sporting the DPR livery, cross the railway bridge over the Elvo. Both serve the Biella S.P. - Santhià route: the Jazz heads to Santhià and the Minuetto to Biella.

In the photo, you can see the metro train, which is about to move towards us and cross a switch/turnout/point and enter service on the line. The surrounding environment is gray, composed almost entirely of concrete and metal grates and pipes. Everything is illuminated by neutral light, somewhere around 3000K. | Nella foto si vede il convoglio della metro che sta per marciare verso di noi e attraversare uno scambio per entrare in circolazione sulla linea. L'ambiente circostante è grigio, composto quasi interamente da cemento e griglie e tubi di metallo. Il tutto è illuminato da una luce neutra, probabilmente intorno a 3000K.

Yo! I have started a new photography account @limes.pics!

Most of my posts will focus on Turin, public transport, or a mix of the two. I've already posted one picture, so do check it out!

(If this feels like deja-vu... it is. I changed the account handle, so I figured a reintroduction was due) :)
