A friend took me to the opera a few times because the plots are anime levels of ridiculous. I remember one where a girl goes out in her father’s coat and is immediately murdered by his enemies and another where a pretty automaton breaks hearts (ripped from the headlines!)

A. 9 out of 10 Americans have Type 2 diabetes
B. This is actually caused by parasites
C. Their natural remedy not only kills the parasites but flushes sugar out of your veins

Just from the part I could read it looks ridiculous.
Of course I can’t talk about ridiculous because I wrote a fanfic that alternated chapters between characters - one was first person and the other third person limited. There may have been one chapter with a tree being third person omniscient.

We used to have one in our yard! Gorgeous tree. They have big spiky cones that can weigh 15-20 pounds; these will do you a harm if they fall on you.

Oh god how I hated the Eurus business. I pretend that season didn’t happen. I enjoyed Benedict Cumberbatch’s parents as Sherlock’s parents though.

I went to Sherlock Seattle (my housemate put it on) and they played The Mouse Detective and the (probably intentionally) hilarious Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes (which is SO NOT). It was made by The Asylum and, as was their custom, came out just in time to confuse people…
