'Dazzle Ships' was released on this day in 1983. OMD's fourth studio album, it utilised musique concrète sound collages, samples from shortwave radio and other experimental ideas. The album featured two single releases, 'Genetic Engineering' and 'Telegraph'.
The album reached No. 5 in the UK.
