The kids actually made animals that don't exist. The AI just put a bunch of stuff that already exists together into a polished slop blender. You can't get a better illustration of why AI can't create anything new while human creativity is bottomless.

After some prodding the original photo is produced and sure enough it had been so heavily altered by AI βpost processingβ that the photo posted was essentially a digital mock-up with totally different proportions and fur markings. No longer the photo off the trail cam; it may as well have just been βcreatedβ by AI from scratch. This stuff is killing me. My days on social media are becoming very limited. We canβt even trust simple, everyday photos of animals to be real. The wildlife community needs to quit editing with AI, and we need to start calling out photographers that are using it. Our reality is being destroyed all around us.

Check Koyunbaba by Domeniconi! You can jump into Presto part first (I recommend Declan Zapala), than explore the whole suite. Blew my mind recently. I like Krzysztof Meisinger interpretation, although is altered significantly. But going into versions rabbit hole is fun in itself.

The more I use Windows 11, the more convinced I am that big tech companies are desperate for AI to succeed because not only do they not know how to improve their software anymore, in a lot of cases, their broken architecture means that they don't know how to stop their software getting worse.

I would say CEO perspective is sociopathic by default. And I'm sure big percentage of management see this that way. They just wont admit it. People are assets, like hardware; you can replace them. No one at the top gives a π© about people, unfortunately... π§ββοΈ<π€
