If you share a link from X, the value after ?t= is used to track who shared the link
So if you are a reporter and not trimming that off, you are essentially helping Elon Musk build a social graph of your sources
Usually anything from the first ? onwards in a link are unnecessary parameters anyway

I'm so often the asshole saying no, but I'm learning to open the door to compromise. I generally ask questions that should lead to cards being put on the table, such as "what's your needs? Here's mine" or "what would it imply on your side if you want to do X but we're requiring Y?". Not easy
