I do not know how poor Iranian people are, I do not think they are poor. But they have an extremist oppressive leadership, no matter whether we call it government or religious leader or terrorist groups. And lot of unpunished killers on the streets.

Iran, as the US is mostly white collar thieves. The problem is that while sure, US if full of gun toting idiots it's still illegal (and usually sanctioned) when someone is beaten to death, jailed for nothing and like. Iran oppression is a different level, sadly.
