I’ve slowly moved to MacOS and Linux on all of my devices except for my gaming PC which is only used for games and nothing else.

If every game ran on Linux (AHEM FORTNITE) I’d switch to Linux there too

I was fresh off of 6+ hours of flight delays with an LAX layover, and the only food option in the entire LAX airport at 8pm on a Wednesday was a vending machine that only had 1 cupcake left

Could, but we don’t use consumer-grade equipment. We’d also need:

- Power run
- Video Cabling
- Camera Rigging

We fly with gear so every one of those items takes up a portion of our weight limits, and if we’re bringing extras we have better things to allocate those resources to than a crowd shot.

Been scheming for next year already and was planning to add another cam but the purpose is not crowd. At the end of the day crowd shots are going to remain lowest priority because our job is to showcase players.

I can break out the retired Sony handycams if we want a crowd shot that badly.

It’s challenging because of how Splatoon’s stage is setup. In a typical fighting game stream we can do the “player wide shot” from the stage with the crowd in the background for a multi-use shot.

Since Splatoon sits players facing the other way, the player wide shot has to be pointed from the crowd

Personally, I think every business should just close the last 2 weeks of the year. The week between Christmas and New Years isn’t even real
