Clearly the "Star Wars Program" of AI but in this case it's just tanking the US economy, while probably baiting nobody into actually following suit such that they tank their own economy worse.
Low key, I think a lot of the people who currently work at Bluesky right now probably would rather be working on Nostr, as they came from a crypto background, and it really shows in how they interact with the greater community.

Instead his money, career & who knows what all else are wound up in a social media platform full of users who don't like smug tech bros, based on a protocol whose entire value is they can't really step hard on critics without driving them to alternative, fully interoperable instances. Tough luck.
It does really feel like they're all still bitter this place didn't retain Jack & the crypto bro set, but especially Why, as his roots are literally in cryptocurrencies & IPFS. If he wasn't deeply entwined with Bluesky, he's exactly the kind of person who would've left 2 years ago.
