Also I don’t view this as a progressive/conservative issue. It’s a quality of life issue that affects everyone and I want to make sure we get it right.

Hi guys! I think my answers were not great - largely my fault for not fully understanding the questions. I am pro-bike lanes and pro-urban trails. I don’t think we can ignore the concerns of business owners - but I agree that more transit alternatives are always an improvement.

"The biggest thing facing the city right now is Trump. There are other important issues... but the fact is that Trump’s policies are affecting the city now."

I am honored to have the support of Rep Edie Ajello, who has represented the East Side with integrity and a deep commitment to social justice throughout her career.
I am ready to work collaboratively with our state leaders, like Edie, to do everything we can to help.
Untenable and/or discriminatory compliance requirements placed upon that funding, and the effect is many of our city’s homeless people, trans youth, low income residents will face further threats in the coming months as those cuts take effect.
I look forward to working collaboratively with her to ensure the city is doing everything it can to protect our most vulnerable neighbors from the worst of the Trump administration.
Right now, countless nonprofits and organizations across the city are having federal funding cut…

Today is the Women’s Bureau’s 105th anniversary, and what did DOL Secretary Chavez DeRemer get for WB? Zero. Literally. Her FY26 budget eliminates it. I talked to @motherjones.com’s @juliannemcshane.bsky.social about how GOP attacks on WB hurt women 🧵 #SaveWB www.motherjones.com/politics/202...
It ain’t happening. I am a new man.
Days like today we can all be glad that I don’t post about Rhode Island politics anymore.
I’m sure Trump and his family and close associates didn’t buy any stock over the past few days knowing that he would pause the tariffs and the markets would jump.
