The games in my list are, in no particular order: Earthbound, Final Fantasy Tactics, Disco Elysium, Cave Story, Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure, Crusader of Centy, Final Fantasy 4, Pokémon Blue, and Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete.

This feels like it bears explanation, but I won't do that right now.

Actually, though, I would have included Breath of Fire 2, but the generator didn't seem to have it as an option.

Also, was Chrono Trigger more influential to me than Pokémon? Was FF6 more influential than FF4? Maybe, I dunno.

I think Typhon does this a bit. And maybe the, ah, infernal beast a bit? But yeah, most of them avoid it.

On this 10th anniversary of Stardew Valley's release, I just have to note that, not only is the game itself a treat, but so is Concerned Ape himself.

3. Wind Waker. Awesome style, super smooth, fun story and characters. I enjoyed the sailing, the treasure hunting, and the ship to ship combat.

Also, you have a grandma that gives you super-powered soup!

2. Tears of the Kingdom. Managed to find a balance between freedom and storyline better than BotW, which compelled me through to the end.

Simply fun from moment to moment. Fulfills the promise of an open world filled with things to discover, which is likewise a miracle.

1. Link's Awakening. Incredible how much heart they were able to pack into a Game Boy game. Turning the limitation of 2 buttons into a tactical loadout choice with surprising depth. Cool dungeons, great music, and just a bit of existential horror. The game is kind of a miracle.

Didn't expect the two isekai anime I'm watching this season to both be BL. Cool change of pace.

Truly the stuff of nightmares

I appreciate people who are super into horror games and movies but also they can't play Stardew Valley because it stresses them out.

Yes, I must consciously decide every time if this is going to be a Thanks, Cheers, Best, or Sincerely email, if it warrants a closing phase at all. They all mean different things.

That's a joke. I actually don't use email signatures at all. I just manually type "-Charlie" at the end of most emails.

Sometimes I manually type out my full name, title, and contact info if I think it would be relevant.

I won't let the robots take this from me.

a 2nd Fangamer Japan shop just opened along with the brand new Kyoto GiGO arcade, and I drew new mural art! All the same characters as the Shibuya store, but with a Kyoto twist. This is my favourite city to visit in Japan so I'm honoured to have my art there!

I'm begging every charity organization website to include a What We Do page that lists at least a few examples of what you actually do and where you have seen success.
