Is there any benefit to "Hide all posts, comments, and communities youβre active in on your profile" on Reddit except trying to hide double standards and lying?
This went from "I have to be incredibly kind" to "they're fucking retarded" within like moments π
npmx is now in alpha: this is our story, as told by our team and friends
"Projektion" ist quasi das unausgesprochene Leitthema von zahlreichen Regierungen und Politikern rund um den Globus seit ein paar Jahren. Nur eins ist dabei noch trauriger: haufenweise Leute die den BS so hinnehmen oder sogar noch weiter verteilen. π©
Funny, because so far I've read a lot (on social media at least) about it being "a superpowered search engine". But even the code it generates is often times utmost bs (using APIs that don't even exist, etc). Making an entire framework with that sounds more like a fever dream than a joyful xp.
Like how am I supposed to trust a technology that's incapable of answering the most basic shit with creating an entire framework I'm going to build upon
I don't get how people are generating entire apps / frameworks with AI, while in my experience it often times can't even answer the most basic questions like "is there a property for X". There never has been a `maxNativeZoom` in OpenLayers - that's a Leaflet property.
Still hurtful to OSS imho for various reasons. Simply put, I don't think that "hey, everyone could copy everyone (limited by token budget) and everyone will be perfectly happy about that" is neither true nor helpful.
The amount of work Josh puts in every blog post is absolutely mind boggling π€―
My cat loves my aio
1) 900k fΓΌr ΓΌberwachungssoftware ausgeben
2) keine Fragen dazu beantworten weil βsicherheitskritischβ
3) sich bei Terror aufs Ausland verlassen (Taylor Swift Konzert)
Wahrlich meisterhaft π€―
Nothing weirder than someone who validates his own view by simply saying "I was totally correct!". Just because you say that, doesn't mean it's true. That's not how "true" works.
This should be automatable? Like instead of checking for sec invulnerabilities or code analysis on PRs, it's time for the "bot that checks user integrity" π
how does the live concert of an "ai music artist" look like? is the guy live prompting on stage or just shows some ai videos without even being there?
I need a browser extension that filters all AI content from my beloved internet (music, blog posts, videos, ...) π«
Thanks chat gpt
Looking for "how to guides" has become somewhat annoying. Most articles are some sycophantic AI slop that aren't really helpful. That's the great revolution the AI bros are talking about? That's just some serious internet enshittifcation.

github.com/tailwindlabs... by @adamwathan.com is really disheartening to read. It always feels like LLMs do more harm than good. Like we traded increasing unemployment, increasingly dying internet, increasing hardware prices and desocializing for an unreliable sparring partner and shitty copycats.
Don't worry, I'm sure the EU highly condemns this when asked and will throw countless threats before doing absolutely nothing at all. After all, we're very well known for being... well, idk, teethless little bitches or something π€·ββοΈ
While being generally pretty sceptical on AI, @convex.dev's chef AI has helped me a lot with getting a better understanding of Convex. Only downside is that I burned through my (free plan) token limit in like half day π
"Buy locally" becomes so much more difficult (compared to sth like Amazon) if the RMA process is a pure pain in the ass. Just spent like 30 min for "you need to install the app and login in to your account to get your receipt because we can see your receipt here, but you need the app". Why? What?
I've watched numerous debates with Dinesh - and to this very day I still wonder why people keep debating him. This guy is a pro athlete in mental gymnastics, nothing else.
That being said, I think that "experience-based" blogs (stories from the real world, not "how to" content) might be more interesting to write and read (for ppl - and less for for AIs).
imho one of the reasons (tech/how to) blogging has gotten a lot less exciting. You're providing content for AI that's being used to actively discourage users to visit your blog blog. yt also a big driver (which I sincerely don't understand because video-form code content isn't that great)
