For being a digital scavenger hunt marketing campaign, it actually reminds me a lot of nonchalance.com/jejune.html and some of the other public scavenger hunts like that. I think there's potential for IRL stuff like that.

Might I suggest giving ARM
Ubuntu a spin? Itβs quite good. 2025+ has been the year of the Linux desktop for me and Iβm finding it works really well.
REAL ID or driver's license? Not proof for the SAVE act. Birth cert or passports, in-person registration only. Who do you know who loses their right to vote?
SAVE excludes valid votes, incl. married women who changed names. It takes just a minute to tell your senators NO: 5calls.org/issue/save-a...
Keep Minnesota Housed! Much of the medΓa has left, but ICE is still in Minnesota and hundreds of families need help with rent in order to avoid eviction. Visit keepMNhoused.com to adopt a rent or donate to rent funds! #keepMNhoused
Today we are launching a new intitative of Stand With MinnesotaβKeepMNHoused.com, a rent-relief campaign backed with a $1.5 matching fund from the Wilson Foundation.
Thousands of MN families are at risk of eviction because of the ICE occupationβs lasting impacts. We can keep them housed.
Things are very much not over here.
If we had VPN tunnels between participants like a Tailscale network then we can make different guarantees about leaky metadata. But if the data is going to live on public channels, I donβt know how you anonymize further without using a different protocol altogether. Like mixing blocks Tor style.
Solving for leaky metadata requires delegating trust to the medium. ATProto is public so a reasonable trade off. Signal gets trust because they seemingly prove that the metadata and data arenβt traceable to an account. They canβt spill secrets beyond a few bytes.
Itβs somewhere in the library of babel. This hint is sufficient explanation: libraryofbabel.info/bookmark.cgi...

trying to wrap my head around how we are going to raise $15-28 million dollars for the expected rent need in Minnesota in March when the news cycle has now passed us.
Particularly when CBP agents have already been caught wearing Meta glasses to immigration raids even without facial recogntion www.404media.co/a-cbp-agent-...
This part. The underlying economic need is, if anything, greater than it was two weeks ago.
Curious if you used godot-ink or something else to power TR-49?
@ralexanderson.com yet another!
There's a lot going on in Minnesota, including an effort to allow mining operations next to Voyageurs National Park aka the Boundary Waters. This wilderness is pristine and untouched. It won't be if we don't preserve it.

Have you seen dfos.com/ ? They have a pre-release instance running that may be interesting to you.
Definitely the best one for me to finally understand Cynefin, which I'd read about years before but didn't understand until this piece nailed the language around it.
Not the first or perhaps not the best, but @gordon.bsky.social on Cynefin crossed my mind when you brought up your 2x2 matrix. newsletter.squishy.computer/p/strategy-i...

30 years of data shows that all immigrants (documented and otherwise) are massively net-positive to the US economy.
> "Stopped by legal & ethical limits"
Chesterton's fence would like a word.
If product-led companies "fail" because "They followed their legal and ethical limits", isn't that a good thing? Wouldn't we all be better off if companies slowed down and asked "Is this actually good for humans?"
I am usually a very behind the scenes person but I stepped outside of my comfort zone because I hope reading this will inspire other people just to step up and do the thing.
You never know what your impact can be.
The number of detainees getting put on ICE flights at MSP has been relatively low the last few days.
I believe this is not on account of ICE pulling back - they still outnumber local police in many towns - but on account of vulnerable people staying home, observer pressure, and lawyer organization.
Greetings from inside the economic blockade zones of Minneapolis and St Paul! Donβt look away, please. We need you. Itβs been a month and theyβre trying to destroy us.
Look for the helpers.

"The misery that is now upon us is but the passing of greed - the bitterness of men who fear the way of human progress. The hate of men will pass, and dictators die, and the power they took from the people will return to the people. So long as men die, liberty will never perish."
