For the penultimate “Living in James Brown America: From Doo-wop to Hip Hop” class, we were visited by Donna Grecco and Songhay Taylor from Primary Wave, who manage James Brown’s intellectual and real property & Dr Deanna Brown-Thomas, James Brown’s daughter and head of James Brown Family Foundation

MTSU Recording Industry Dep’t “Living in James Brown’s America” class opened “Mr Dynamite: The Legacy of James Brown” exhibition at the CPM w/ a welcome video from "Bootsy" Collins. The students curated, designed, & marketed the exhibition with artifacts from King Records Legacy and the Center.
Today at the Center for Popular Music - Opening of the "Mr. Dynamite: The Legacy of James Brown" at 1pm (11/13/14).
