Awful reading about concentration camp conditions. It’s currently closed to visitors due to a measles outbreak—WaPo has reported it may close completely but it hasn’t yet. Starvation, suicide, restricted healthcare, but also “detainees only see sunlight during brief outings once or twice a week”

Let's be clear: Our ROTOR Act in the Senate could have prevented the horrific DCA crash that took 67 lives.

Today, the House must pass it too.

The families of Flight 5342 deserve nothing less.

Judges decry treatment of nursing and pregnant detainees in ICE custody The agency has declined to say whether a Biden-era policy largely barring detention for pregnant and nursing mothers remains in force.

I led the @demwomencaucus.bsky.social in demanding the release of pregnant and nursing moms in ICE detention centers. Pregnant women have been shackled, deprived of prenatal care, and even lost their babies. It’s inhumane.

Like these judges, I want answers.

In Maryland, we believe in dignity.

I’m fighting ICE’s plan to turn a Washington County warehouse into a 1,500-person detention center.

People are not packages.
I’m standing with Team Maryland to stop it and demand transparency. No cages in MD-06.

Kinda weird that the party that controls the House, the Senate, and the White House claims there's rampant voter fraud.

Local Politics: The fallout of serving ICE(d) coffee – Matter News A local coffee chain has been under fire for saying it would not refuse to serve ICE agents. But the people who work there say that’s not the full story.

“I think part of what you are obligated to do if ICE agents come to your city is to make it as difficult as possible for them to be here. By denying them access to things like coffee shops ... you’re making it actively difficult for them to be in the city.”

When he refused, Lewandowski -- who has zero authority to fire anyone at any time -- tried to fire the pilot IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FLIGHT.

Everyone’s talking about AI datacenters needing more power.

But the real problem isn’t just how much power they use.

It’s how they use it.

Off-grid data centers won’t work, so most are looking at hybrid approaches.
