Collector's Cove is a sea-based farming sim I fell in love with the more I played it. The archipelago setting and unique creature-collecting mechanics won me over, unlike other games in the genre. Here's my review.

17th Film Watched in 2026 - The Secret Agent (2025)
Took me more than half the film to understand what the hell was going on, but once the pieces fell into place it became much more entertaining. Wagner Moura gives a wonderful (but subdued) performance, and the look of the film is stellar.
Who could forget the PSP? Wish I still had mine 😢

Somehow totally missed that this was this week! Can’t wait to see what all is shown, but I’m hoping for another look at There Are No Ghosts at the Grand. One of my most anticipated upcoming games, but we haven’t seen or heard anything about it for a while now.

Resident Evil Requiem was exciting for me, as it seemed like it was essentially trying to combine my favorite two Resident Evil games.
Unfortunately, one half is a fair bit better than the other, which holds it back from its highest potential.

Watching the new season of live-action One Piece and saw a character/heard a name I didn’t ’t remember from this point in the anime, did a Google search to see if it was a new character for the adaption, and gave myself a huge spoiler 😅

Happy Mario Day! The OG Super Mario Bros. was my first video game too! I haven’t stuck with the series as much as I wish I had, but I think my favorite 2D game is World and 3D game is 64. Both were massive parts of my childhood.

Played a very short 15-minute indie horror game called Only Faces Remain.
Won’t be writing a full review due to how short the game is, but if you want two of the most diabolically placed jump scares ever then this is worth checking out 😅

There’s nothing wrong with taking a break or changing your approach. I’ve gone through several patches of limited writing or taking a break altogether, so I get it.
It’s wild how many formative games from that era have these multiple-decade anniversaries that make me go “That can’t be true, I played it when I was a kid” only to realize that, yes, those anniversaries are correct… I’m just getting old. 😅
And I liked Lord of the Flies lol
