Very tempted to write CVS back and ask for compensation - they probably won’t give it to me, because they’re The Worst, but it will at least give me a vent for my fury
Esp because I still have a stye on my right eye that will not completely go away, even after antibiotics
…not to mention the two sets of nice eye makeup I had to throw out after getting yet another stye/eye infection
And while I appreciate the offer of the refund, I’d really like them to pay for the two regular doctor visits, two eye doctor visits (one an emergency bc my right eye was so infected I could hardly open it), 3 tubes of ointment, course of antibiotics…
Yesterday I got an email from CVS saying several batches of their eye drops were being recalled for “possible microbial infections” and saying they’d refund the purchase of these drops
…you can guess that my eye drops were from one of these batches
**Commencing occasional Bitters rant in 3…2…1… **
So I’ve been dealing with styes and eye infections for 4-5 months now - I’d treat them, and they’d go away, and then come back, switching back and forth between eyes with varying degrees of severity
I really really really wish I could be walking my dog right now! *sob*
