The longer we are from 2007, the more we can see how Twitter fundamentally shifted things, for good and for worse. I still miss it, but to participate nowadays feels largely performative.

Do you pieces would’ve landed differently if William Hurt were around? As much as I’ve seen from critics so far, it seems like this was as much a vehicle to give him his due for his work over the last 17 years as a vehicle for Anthony to soar (pun intended). So bummed he wasn’t able to finish up.

I got selected for jury duty last week; thankfully it was a civil case because I couldn’t have dealt with a criminal trial. (Though, I think voir dire would’ve probably gotten me out of it; I don’t think the lawyers would want my bias re: law enforcement)
