Minneapolis should be modeling to other cities what it means to show up for each other. We've seen that in people-powered mutual aid work, but the city can and must take action at a larger scale. "Pause Evictions, Save Lives" is smart policy. It is also the right thing to do.

two of the musicians tonight are going through an eviction, and one of them spoke very directly and movingly about the crisis renters are facing here in minneapolis, and their stress & pain being just a drop in the bucket of our collective experience here but it still feeling insurmountable 🥀
