Oh but that wont work on slopes so calculate the angle it should be facing (factoring in the height returned by the 4 raycasts) and align to that maybe

Yeah I guess you could add a slight rotational force so that it tries to stay horizontal/ upright

Back when I was more of a beginner with Godot I did the exact same thing ๐Ÿ˜† I know the pain. The stupid hover cat would just always flip over or spin out of control!

It would be interesting to see more bigger teams using Godot for bigger projects. We can't forget that "death by a thousand cuts" MIGHT be accurate for big teams with full-vanilla Godot, but I'm sure that they have a ton of internal tools which make working with Unity or UE easier as well.

I like Godot even for 3D (look at my profile for proof ๐Ÿ˜†). Its not 100% o n the same performance level as say UE5 but its at least 80% there ๐Ÿ˜ If you know what you're doing, you can create some very good looking Godot games too (see PVKK, Road to Vostok etc.)

Interesting. Tiny bit of feedback: I think your shadow settings are a bit off? Maybe try playing around with them. Could help with readability. Heres a link to a very nice in depth Godot docs site:

Would you say that reviewing Godot PRs requires very good knowledge of C++? Or is general programming knowledge (other languages) sufficient?

Idk maybe some banking details, adresses, logs (in order to redact parts of them in the editor), URLs which you wanted to send elsewhere. Could be anything. After a while you could forget that the plugin exists...

So you're saying when writing a blog, its impossible to accidentally paste something in your text? Or what if you just quickly want to store something in a file and then those contents get sent out?

This is all fun until you accidentally paste something in your editor which you didn't want to and then it will be sent out to some random guy viewing your website. I guess it will be gone quickly again but still that would not be a risk I am willing to take personally.

Nice :) Maybe just the lines without the vignette work as well? Or have it even more transparent (like 25% or 15%?)
Or maybe it would be best to have it as a setting (a bit stronger by default but with the option to turn it down)
