Trying to play TR-49 and as someone who enjoys this sort of game and loved Heaven's Vault I was hoping to have a good time, but this game seems to have been designed in a lab to frustrate me

To follow up on that: there's can be a maximum number of realtime lights affecting an object in Forward rendering. Much less of an issue in Deferred or in Forward Plus (only available with URP, not the built-in pipeline)
