it's preoccupation isn't the same - not in language as you describe it, but it is very much about looking at social differentiation through social schema that use crime as a jumping off point and (in text) deliberately ignores the efficacy of such strategies while interrogating them metatextually .

I honestly think the OP is rage farming. With a consultation ongoing no minister can comment - those are the rules and his ‘rumours say’ is bollocks. The government clearly stated this was one option right at the beginning of their consultation. i hate it too but this is rage bating for engagement
