whatβs the last thing you lined up for, and that thing, exceeded expectations?
team is cooking. bringing the best of arc over. rethinking the fundamentals. thursday release notes.
and above all, having a lot of fun building with wonderful folks.
A wide view of a lake under a bright blue sky with scattered clouds. In the foreground, a wooden dock extends into the water. At the end of the dock, a woman sits cross-legged next to a small child in a red hat who is lying on their stomach, both looking out toward the water and distant tree line.

itβs a form of dance notation. a lovely rabbit hole to go down.
woah. MΓΊm released an album after a 12yr hiatus, is touring, and is performing in Vancouver?!
thanks for the kind words! also hello from Vancouver π
iβm excited Dia is here.
let it bake. the interesting bits are a turn deeper than arc. Dia rewards the curious.

installed the liquid glass. hard to put my finger on it, but it feels like they updated the antialiasing algo across the entire system to simulate chromatic aberration. not just first-party apps, but whenever a saturated color rests on white surface, thereβs a bit of bleed / fuzz.
best show in a minute. the first three episodes of S2 were a slog, but wow.
incredibly rad. also, that domain :chef-kiss:
π€tiny: When I tap βadd attendeesβ on a calendar invite with someoneβs name in the title, suggest contacts with fuzzy-matched names first. Or skip the whole thing and let me @name people in the title and auto-invite them.
Internet Roadtrip is my favorite thing on the internet right nowβitβs basically Twitch Plays Google Street View. They started in Boston, spent several weeks on a quest to cross the Canadian border, and are now exploring New Brunswick. neal.fun/internet-roa...
that 2 wrapping around the S is :chef-kiss:
A dimly lit stage setup featuring a variety of analog synthesizers, wooden desks, a mixing console, and rack-mounted audio equipment. Warm light beams cut through the haze, highlighting the retro-futuristic aesthetic of the instruments and furniture. Large speakers sit at the front edge of the stage.
excited for Nils Frahm
they should just put the base for the sign with a plaque: βWe thought about putting a big Vancouver sign here, but didnβt want to ruin the view.β
they should make the letters clear π
A black trailer is parked behind a chain-link fence, which has a white sign reading βedible planetβ with a green graphic in the center. The trailer is in a paved lot next to a grassy area, with high-rise buildings and part of a stadium visible in the background under a clear sky.
mining and drilling it isnβt enough? weβre going to start eating it now? great.
yesss. exactly.
My gut says there are so many buttons and blanks that anything is at a disadvantage as it inherits unnecessary complexity.
Remove all the buttons and blanks, use four buttons:
[ up ]
[ down ]
[ door close ] | [ door open ]
I wouldnβt reduce it to one buttonβI think that would feel unexpected.
