Holy shitβ¦You canβt make this up: a plane is circling Soldier Field before the Bears home opener with a banner that readsβ

Manager: "What's this milestone 'Living on a prayer' ?"
Me: "That's the documentation deliverable."
Manager: "What's the status of that?"
Me: "We're halfway there"
Manager: "Why is progress so slow?"
Me: "You fired Tommy"
Manager: "So?"
Me: "Tommy used to work on the docs"
I pre-ordered a signed copy and the ebook. I've also already read the book because I have an ARC.
I agree that it's not humorous science fiction. Though Ran does add a lot of deadpan comic relief.

I'm out of town this week, but he was with my parents and was comfortable in his last days.
I'm going to miss him dearly.
