I suppose I should figure out how to use the new Affinity app one of these days, but I’ve been using Photo 2 / Designer 2 for so long that I have the process down and they still work fine.
Sleep has been rather thin this week, lol.

I keep thinking I’m forgetting something, but I’ve finished the WIP (though it still needs edits), I designed and dropped off the bookmarks for printing, I’ve updated everything that needs to be updated with the Roses & Stone cover, and I’ve social mediaed everything.
Brain, what you forgetting?
There was no physical keyhole, so picking the lock—the easiest method of entry—wasn’t an option. “Do you think they’ll notice if we kick the door in?” I asked. It was often the second easiest method of entry, if not the subtlest. “I think they might,” Nilo said drily. I sighed dramatically. “I guess I’ll do it the hard way then.”

Is anyone else getting a bunch of 500 errors on Amazon or am I stuck in some A/B test hell?
I have nineteen million things to do today, so good job me for getting the book done yesterday so I’m only 97% frazzled instead of 173%.
I was SO CLOSE to going to a different lab that’s in the same system, but Mr M had trouble there, and so I’m super glad I went to the one in the building with my doc’s office. The one thing that worked out well, lol.
Went to get my annual blood work this morning, but it wasn’t in the system, so I had to go upstairs to my doc’s office and wait for them to figure out what was happening, and then go back down to the lab and get stabbed.
It’s been a morning.

I lied! I’m DONE! I wrote 5004 words today, which is about five times my normal everyday amount and more than double my typical deadline amount.
It’ll need a good scrub to work out the hinky bits, but I’m D-U-N! 🎉
4.1k today / 71k overall. I’m in the final scene, I think, but as much as I was trying to get done tonight, I think I’m going to have to admit defeat.
Tomorrow! This book ends tomorrow!
Ehh, it is supposed to be 60-80k, and I don’t get paid any extra for extra words. 😅
