Apple will give us mind blowing tools sometimes, while introducing friction in the weirdest ways possible.

If you use my apps (well, app,I currently only have one published),Silvianna for AniList, this is a notification to let you know that the app has been transferred to Fairese LLC, a company I created in June.
Nothing will change in terms of development of the app.

This thing I'm doing where I am developing a new app with its dedicated website is really to my liking. I can blog about new features as they get completed and have public documentation about my features.
The latest Mignori beta introduces Collections โ a local, on-device way to organize the booru posts you save, inspired by the Photos app on iOS.

Real device debugging in modern iOS development is all about watching your kids grow while you wait for the text field to respond.
The next version of my #anime app, Silvianna for #AniList, will release on January 20. Here's a small sneak peak of what's coming:
- Redesigned media screen.
- Redesigned Character and Staff screens.
- You can now view media relationships
Also built a website for it.

Mignori was my most popular App Store app in 2014. A failed rewrite in 2017 put it on hold. In 2026, Iโm finally finishing it.

I'm a simple man - I see Sakura, I like.
I am willing to bet none of you have opened the iTunes Store app on your phones in over a decade.
I finally regained access to an Apple account I had setup in Japan to buy anime music, and this is a relic. This is iOS 7 in iOS 26.1. Just look at the super thin iconography
Man, people were not kidding when they say App Store Review is being slower dice iOS 26. Which is understandable.
I come from the era where your app review could take months to weeks but my latest app reviews were apparently done within an hour of submission.
Don't you love it when all you want to do is to prepare your App Store Submission and the thing just keeps giving you errors in the 5xx range?
It has been a loooong time since I shipped something of my own, so I'm happy to announce that my Anime Tracking app for Anilist, Silvianna, will receive a big update on October 28 (provided everything goes well).
macOS Tahoe has critically broken my screenshot flow. ๐ซ Taking screenshots and dragging them from its preview from an app is an EXTREMELY common thing for me. It doesn't do this anymore. I looked and I can't figure out how to enable that feature. Anyone have a clue?
iPhone unboxing videos are just so weird to me. But it's amazing how creative YouTubers can be to show us how they take a phone, a cable, and two bits of paperwork out of a box in 19 minutes.
Who remembers that crazy era when Xcode came with Line Numbers disabled by default?
Any #iOSDev here using SwiftData with CloudKit in production? How is it working out for you in 2025?
I have also linked this account to my domain, so you know this is in fact me.
I have revamped my website and it's finally live!

Really happy with the theme I chose. Theme is Colordrop by Humberto Rocha.
The idea is to start blogging again. So hopefully, I start doing that sooner rather than later.
Going with this one.
I screenshotted the wrong thing and didn't even notice.
Wonderful news!
You don't need the latest Apple Watches for hypertension notifications!
Dunno why, I'm just very happy about this.
The lady presenting the iPhone is at the Aventura Mall in Miami, I have no doubts. I was there in May ๐
Unfortunately I have to give up on my AlarmKit app. Too many issues that are being hard to debug and the feedback which I thought would help ease this up has been left on read, so I won't have an iOS launch app ready, for yet another year.
Throwback to the first iOS app I published, 2011. #iOSDev
Am I connected with anyone at Apple that can help me escalate a Feedback? ๐ Will appreciate it, AlarmKit appears to be completely broken in the latest two betas.

I have been playing with @n8n.io, since Wednesday. It's a great tool for automating stuff and very friendly for non programmers, but it feels like a superpower in the hands of programmers.
