An important announcement from the Governor of Illinois.
And by pass I mean it gets upheld instead of shut down.
This is probably unfair of me, but I'm starting to wonder just a little bit if "don't worry, that'll be shut down in the courts" doesn't mean "we actually kinda want it to pass but we're not going to tell you that".
Cinnamon, a light brown dog, stares mournfully at the camera as his brother Nutmeg, a very dark brown dog, lays on the towel that was supposed to be used for drying off wet dogs when they came inside.
We have 2 puppies. They are about 60lbs each now. I didn't want puppies, and I didn't want big dogs, and yet here we are. I adore them.
At least I do until they come in from the rain, and Nutmeg refuses to give back the towel so I can dry Cinnamon off, too.

I realized today (again) that mentoring is so worth it. I appreciate every mentee I've ever had because I've learned something new from each and every one. I only hope that they also got to learn something new. 🥰
