its just so situational. on my team we have a jet bow which works for us cause we have brush, dynamo, and naut, so literally any entry tool would help us

but especially in the current meta its so hard to find value with it alone

Anyways I really fucking love dynamo and I hope it doesnt get nerfed to the ground. I hope to one day be the best dynamo player in the west, and I don't think I'm THAT far off considering there arent too many out there above div 3 (im div 3) #compsplatoon #splatoon3

BUT so far I haven't fought or found a single dynamo player ingame that really knows what they're doing. They'll abuse the power over shortrange weapons, but have no idea how to push. Its something you really have to figure out all the positions that work best for it on offense on EVERY MAP.

Which brings me to my final point: surviving on dynamo is just as important as a backline, even though you can play it like a midline. Dynamo makes short-mid range weapons have to play completely differently, like an eliter does to everyone. Its really powerful if the dynamo player knows their shit

If youre the longest range weapon in the game in SoloQ on dynamo, you can really just go crazy. Like every time. No matter how good the other team is, they'd have to be extremely coordinated to even get you out of there, or you'd have to feed to a zooka or some other special weapon.

to give a little bit of defense/paint your feet, to either swim to the side and swing, or just let your swing get out.

Dynamo with a painting playstyle is fun and works really well, and I never got to experience it before even though I've been maining this weapon for over 5 years.

Things I've learned about dynamo since taking it more seriously in comp recently:

Cooler is just by far the best. it lets you be a playmaker yourself, and since you can even superjump mid-swing it can save you from deaths SO OFTEN if you play it right.

Sprinkler can be used when superjumping
