shouldnβt *be* using, dammit, always a typo
the problem is these people compile stuff in a way that looks authoritative and then people just unquestionably repost, but itβs not *actually* reported out
a thread with all kinds of seemingly factual info, linking to a weird google doc they put together with all kinds of claims to sourcing, but somehow all of it resting on one assumption about military procedure that several military people have said in the replies doesnβt hold water
yβall do know that capitolhunters person is a crank, right? like separate from any issue with Platner, theyβre just a crank you shouldnβt using as a source

also just endlessly fascinated by a guy whoβs apparently dedicated his life to meditation practice, and yet has zero ability to self-reflect. took the idea of βno selfβ too literally, it seems.
amazing how many ads now are just AI slop, like if youβre so lazy about making an ad, why would i expect your product to be any good?
i have a kind of obsessive dislike of harris
sheβs here! she just doesnβt post as much because Twitter feeds her stronger material to work with
Castration Movie 2 is hands down one of the best films Iβve seen in my life, so supporting Part 3 means being part of cinematic history. Louise is amazing and her art is astonishing
the most predictable man on the planet
this is an unbelievably good interview

and actually, if you go on youtube, you'll see Coogler's company Proximity Media is basically dedicated to giving aspiring filmmakers some insight into the process. demystifying it and making it seem possible.
like i think part of the Coogler video's success is that it's Coogler himself going, "*I* made this movie, and I poured my heart into it for all of you to have a great time, and check it out, here's this cool nerdy shit I did for you all to have a special experience." so inviting into the process.
100% Corridor Crew is an example. though i think even their fans kind of recognize that those guys are a bit too outside the industry. they crave a real peek behind the scenes.
i think they issue is they need to be presented and packaged in the right way. needs to be a certain kind of inviting, where it's not just an explainer, but an expression of the passion of creativity. interviews in particular are good for this, if the subject is excited.
i've talked to people a lot about this lately, that we grew up with special features that indulged our nerdiness. the kids, they don't get those anymore! they crave them!
omg somebody's done a playlist of all the OG How It's Made segments
tweet from @wtflanksteak: "There's a reason people went nuts for Ryan Coogler's video explaining different film formats. Interviews and videos about the craft and the work are blowing up."
thinking about this constantly
how is it even legal? america beat them in a whole war for this!

gotta disagree
in this movie, basically the hottest person i've ever seen
what if timmy spurs a resurgence for opera and ballet?!
tweet from @boneysoups, quote posting the video of Timothee Chalamet saying nobody cares about opera or ballet anymore, commenting, "this man is a master of the pull quote. every opera house and ballet company in the world is going to make response videos to this for a full calendar year. it will be in every SINGLE curtain speech and fundraising email. to say nothing of individual performers posting on tiktok"
Canadian Opera Company on TikTok posting about Chalamet
Royal Ballet and Opera of London posting on TikTok about Chalamet
Teatro Real in Madrid posting about Chalamet on TikTok
guys, maybe timmy's a genius
i think Dune will be less of a front-runner for Actor even if he happens to be nominated, so i think that'll act as a reset for him
he got the movie to almost $100 million domestic, which i do think matter to him more than an Oscar
smashed that backing button like nobody's business
