There was a time on the web where it was just common sense to not believe much or most of what you read. Common sense is not that common anymore.

You can convince a sizable chunk of boomers they shouldn’t blindly trust random posts. I see zoomers calling those random posts “research”; sharing it to people is “education”. It’s very often propaganda.

I think a lot of people never read the case or followed it at the time, and are just playing telephone with headlines. Some are zoomers who were like 10 when this happened.
