I'm a professional video game programmer from Germany. I love video games. (Mega Man, Xenoblade Chronicles, Rhythm Heaven...) I'm obsessed with Taiko no Tatsujin. I love Anime. (One Piece, Eureka Seven, shonen in general...) I love German dubs. He/him

Windows, PLEASE! I was only trying to install MSXML, NOT to summon The Ancient One!
Outlines sure do a lot of heavy lifting.
Nah, don't be jealous, because the majority of what we Pokemon fans do get fed is just bird feces! ๐ญ
We've had to wait this long to finally get our first 3D Pokemon game that even looks somewhat acceptable.

The vibes I'm getting from this theme so far are very Dragon Quest, but also with some clear western RPG influences, and of course als your own very personal flavor. Something that feels familiar, yet unique at the same time!
This theme just gave me a huge "holy shit" moment!
CrossCode has what I consider to be my favorite soundtrack of all time. Something that feels like it's speaking directly to my soul. AB's OST at this point already feels like it's going to accomplish a very similar thing. I LOVE this song!
Photo of the front side of a Game Boy Advance sitting on a green blanket. The shell of the GBA appears clear orange. The buttons are gray. There's a big scratch on the display.
Photo of the backside of a Game Boy Advance sitting on a green blanket. The shell is clear white but appears clear orange at the rims. The buttons are gray. The label on the back of the GBA is moderately worn out.
I took out my old GBA that has only been sitting in my drawer for (probably) 10-ish years, and it has yellowed so funnily that it looks orange now. You could almost mistake it for an official clear orange shell without seeing its backside.
[...] just be overpainting AI art nowadays. They justified it with the amazing execuse of "I'm a professional and already know how to draw, so it doesn't impact me that AI produces bad results. Efficiency is much more important!"
I was so disappointed and cancelled my support immediately.
I'm once again reminded of how difficult AI stuff is to spot nowadays when you're not a professional. I don't think I would've ever suspected that account.
I used to support a person on Patreon for (probably) a few years before they just very casually admitted (on their Discord only) to [...]
I still feel euphoria whenever I see someone use my VWF Dialogues patch in a hack, especially if it's a cool-looking one. Can anyone relate?
Most recently, it was when I saw MM102's really funny WIP troll hack. It's looking so good!
Hope she recovers quickly! ๐
Yeah, it seems allergy symptoms pop up at the weirdest times for me. Seems totally random sometimes. Then again, aside from pollen, I'm also allergic to dust mites, so I guess my symptoms can't ever be fully seasonal, anyways? ๐
I'm doing fine overall, how about you? ๐
Thought I was catching something yesterday, as my throat was ever so slightly sore, but it hasn't gotten worse today, so I think I might be fine! Maybe just weird allergy symptoms, since I was also sneezing like crazy.
And also CRT filters, wow! Honestly, I used to not be a fan, and when it comes to 2D games (especially on the SNES), I still think it's mostly a matter of preference. I feel the game still look fine pixelated.
When it comes to early 3D, though, what a game changer!
"Running old games at their original resolution" fans are eating so good right now! ๐
Having recently bought an Analogue 3D, played some games on it and been blown away by how much better the games looked than I remembered, I'm also a believer and an advocate now!
Same here. Felt like 70% old games, and the rest were games not really for me. But alas, that's just how it goes sometimes.
Wait, I say that all the time!
Am I cringe? ๐
Bummer you're not into Metroid or Xenoblade. Those are two of my absolute favorite game series!
Rhythm Heaven and Warioware, on the other hand, now that's what I call a ๐ค๐ค๐ค opinion.
It does sound slightly worrying, but it's important to keep in mind the game hasn't even been out for three months yet. I do think it's fair for even a Nintendo franchise to not sell 1 million copies within that time, especially a niche franchise like Metroid.
I'm sure it will reach 1+ mil.
You go, queen! ๐
It's only been like two years since I've played through all the Kingdom Hearts games for the first time, and yet nostalgia is already hitting hard. Despite me having struggled quite a bit with the game, somehow it's only the good memories that prevail!
The stage length is very subjective. Certainly depends on player preference, I personally liked it that way and think it made MM11 quite unique within the series!
While I agree Wily's Fortress wasn't perfect, I still loved it and don't think its "flaws" compare to Mighty No. 9's at all.
I totally agree with Mighty No. 9 being an okay game. Don't know about Mega Man 11 not being a lot better, though.
The thing is, I can't really think of any one thing Mega Man 11 does outright badly. The same can't be said about Mighty No. 9. I still see a wide gap between them.
Even my partner got super hyped watching the trailer, which feels rare nowadays.
The only thing I'm still missing so far that they haven't confirmed yet is whether musicals will be back. These were one of my favorite aspects of the previous game!
Tomodachi Life is looking amazing! Even my partner is getting extremely hyped seeing it, which feels rare.
I've been pretty quiet about this recently, but have actually been working on it pretty intensely! Now there's only a few important features missing before I'd consider that a viable v1.0.
To the left is the logo I've created (not perfect, but kinda fun), to the right the current archive WIP.
That's one heavy Dixie. Makes it all that much more impressive she's able to take off with just the strength of her ponytail!
A photo showing four plushies from the video game CrossCode, sitting on a table. From left to right: Apollo, Shizuka, Lea and Emilie.
The entire @radicalfishgames.com is now unite!
Who cares about not having any space for more plushies, anyways. ๐
Mario and Luigi turn into elephants in that one game, soo... ๐ค
I haven't had a desire to go back to that other site ever since leaving it. It's so great to actually get stuff on my timeline that I care about and that I allow to be there, rather than random algorithmically promoted ragebait that has no other purpose than to farm engagement.
