Eleven years since you crossed the black sands. I wish I could say that the world is better than you left it (although it will always be better for having had you in it) but at least there is a new Young Sam to help carry on the Pratchett name and ethos. Love you always ❤️
I wanted a loud, public, epic, grand send off from everyone involved and not a secret, underwhelming, faint whimper of one. I know why isn’t happening but that doesn’t make less painful. I’m still grateful for what we do have but let me hold space for both truths.
Good Omens isn’t ending how I want it too. I don’t just mean season 3 not being 6 episodes but the lack of public celebration for it and acknowledgement from the cast/crew have become painfully apparent as the months leading up to finale draw to a close.

In Proceedings of the Computational Humanities Research Conference (CHR 2022), Antwerp, Belgium, December 12–14, 2022 (CEUR Workshop Proceedings, vol. 3290, pp. 424-440): “Rolling Delta partially confirms our expectations of the novel. Pratchett's idiom is predominant in the book. Instances of Gaiman's style, especially throughout Chapter 6, can largely be attributed to the presence of the Four Horsemen in those sections, characters that he authored. Rolling Classify generally confirms the results of Rolling Delta, except for 2 additional shorter segments being attributed to Gaiman. Compared to the results obtained by previous studies, we find Pratchett to be far more predominant throughout the novel. Our results reveal a higher degree of confidence in attributing segments to each author, showing fewer overlays between Gaiman's and Pratchett's styles compared to Callaway's.”
Random reminder that most recent (2022) academic study on the topic of authorship of Good Omens by Grotti, Allaert and Quick not only analyses the book, but also uses the movie screenplay for control. The results confirm that Terry Pratchett wrote even more than Callaway’s older stylometry suggests.

Of course no show can go on forever, and a good quality show with less seasons will always be better than a mediocre one with more seasons. Then I guess there’s just one problem left, how much I’m going to miss those two.
It has really started to hit me that that this is it, after May 13 there will be no more Good Omens. Or at least Good Omens as we know it.

I was worried the finale would turn out horrible being condensed into 90 minutes from six episodes in a matter of months. But after Rachel expressed how happy and proud she was the result a weight was lifted off my shoulders.

I have every valid reason imaginable not to love Good Omens anymore. Many left it for good after everything occurred. And yet, I’m still here. Clinging on to it and dreading saying goodbye in what we now know is 89 days from now. What a privilege it is to love something that much 🤍🖤😈👼🍎🦆

It’s okay if you’re feeling a little melancholic as well as excited for the finale. This fandom has been through a lot and it’s alright to feel mixed emotions.
This may be the end of the trilogy, but Aziraphale and Crowley’s story will continue on!
