This looks really nice!

Finished this sweater a few weeks ago! This is made with single ply fingering weight yarn held double. I worked each section for 24 rounds (excluding the collar).
Pattern is my own.

#wip update: now onto the sleeves of this sweater. I’m running out of the dark gray yarn 😭 so need to make my sleeves colorblocks longer. I thought about using more of the navy, but I’m gonna run out of this one as well. Dang!

If there’s too much fabric in the shoulders, it’s too big. Is this a gauge issue? Check that. If not, I recommend casting on a smaller size (4-5” smaller) and right before the bust adding an increase round (5”x stitch gauge=#stitch increases) distribute those more towards the front of your sweater.
