listen I’m not saying the british were right or wrong when they torched the white house, I’m just saying there’s precedent
me: I’ll just lie down for 5 minutes
my body: ok we will now enter a mysterious state that is worse than sleep but also not rest
absolute legend
*to the tune of marry / fuck / kill* turn on / tune in / drop out
he was also very weird, it was just a structured louisiana voodoo weirdness vs. whatever unique wavelengths Zappa & Van Vliet were tuned into
I think the biggest damage to the art community was the obsolescence of gallery sites (y!, deviantart, etc) and the rise of scroll-by social media, like twitter and even tumblr. Art is not ''content'', you shouldnt need to post art every day (or every month!) to be relevant. This mindset sucks.
Bandcamp Friday is upon us & my entire discography is free/pwyw — if you enjoy trip-hop/downtempo/instrumental hip-hop there might be something here that you’ll dig!👇🏻
I don't have anything new out for bandcamp friday, so I'll take yet another opportunity to plug RESIN, my collaborative album with @anwarhighsign.bsky.social as THE FORTUNATE ONES. it is far & away the best project I have ever had the pleasure to work on. thank you for listening 💗
kicked out of my qabalah circle for naming my rap golem emeth doom
A gameboy color screenshot (art of my creation), of a woman looking out to the ocean, while the text box says: "We'll make it. I know we will."
oh hell yes to this
Hey, I’m starting up an anti-algorithm music site, if that sounds like something you’re into then check it out. Thanks!

although I have it on good authority that there is an actual metal clergy album stashed away somewhere
at this point they could just collect all of ka & roc marci’s existing collaborations & call it a metal clergy album & I would be totally fine with that
really struggling to be in any way kind to myself today
today pinterest is betraying me by showing me all the cute &/or hot queer fan art of lio & galo from promare that I saved in like 2022

bespoke: I should produce British actor Toby Jones’ debut EP for release on Griselda & every track including the intro should have a Westside Gunn feature
1 Inquiry for New York Times Good afternoon, My name is [REDACTED] and l am a reporter for the New York Times. I am researching how much money the Palestinian diaspora community has sent to support Gazan families since the war in Gaza began. Does your team track this figure? I really appreciate it. With gratitude, [REDACTED]
Palestine Diaspora Movement Hello [REDACTED] We do not collaborate with The New York Times. Your email asks about money sent to Gazan families "since the war in Gaza began." Let us first correct the premise. This is not a war. It is a genocide. Calling it a war is part of the problem. It obscures the reality of a colonized people being massacred by a military machine backed by the United States and defended, sanitized, and rhetorically softened by institutions like yours. The New York Times has spent far too long parroting Zionist propaganda and laundering Israeli state narratives while Palestinians bury their dead. That kind of coverage does not merely misinform. It helps create the political climate in which Palestinian slaughter becomes explainable, defensible, and forgettable. So no, we will not be sharing any figures, internal data, or community information with a paper that has so thoroughly damaged its credibility on Palestine. Quite frankly, we would rather chew jeans than help The New York Times extract from our community while continuing to fail it. Do not contact us again for this purpose, The Palestine Diaspora Movement Team

I should make an EP for British actor Toby Jones
if they were contemporaries I think columbo would be an enormous poirot stan
to this day I still randomly think of him saying “boodle boy” & it never fails to crack me up, but also that episode goes hard af
it would be a brutal watch, just waiting for that shoe to drop
I absolutely would not “duel” him or whatever they call it in digimon
there’s one zatoichi that literally does this & it’s spectacular
you could make a really good horror-thriller from the pov of a criminal under columbo’s scrutiny, the character functions are basically the same
poirot would make a great show of how offputting he found columbo but would secretly respect the hell out of him
