Final experiment in cross cultural blending: 5g White2Tea Tale Chaser (roasted ripe puerh) and 2g Yunomi Naturalitea Superior Hojicha. Weird, I like the blends that are unevenly divided between the teas more than evenly divided blend.

One of our favorites from the new smoked and roasted releases, 2026 Terry is a sun-dried Yunnan white tea that was sent to Fujian to be charcoal roasted by hand. Incredible depth of flavor and aromatics and a unique experience even for you veterans of gongfu

Really depends on what you like and your budget. Personally, I think Peak Vulture is a great deal for a daily shou. For the smoked stuff, I’d prefer to try the 2025 or earlier productions, as they’re more calm. For the roasted stuff, if the budget and timing fit then I’d try them. Especially Terry

Same deal, but out of curiosity increased it to a 50-50 blend of White2Tea Tale Chaser (charcoal roasted ripe puerh) and Hojicha (Yunomi NaturaliTea Superior). The nice part is I like the longer steeps more than when just brewing the Hojicha.

Mistake on our part, the description should be: Sweet hay, warm thatch fence, or a even something a bit out there like sun-dried apricot or pear compote. Plenty going on in both aroma and flavor that is on the edges of description. A solid choice for a roasted white tea introduction.

@white2tea.bsky.social club sheng as it pours all day. I realized I needed more sheng and remedied that tonight (and got a sweet plum gaiwan and new chabu to boot) so I’m pretty hyped. I’m less hyped that I ordered kow soi at maximum spice the day after a dental procedure. My whole head felt numb🤷🏻‍♂️
