We have released an update (2.0.63) that redesigns the menu, fixes some bugs, and adds options to open recent documents and include links to other documents in the text. The toolbar has also been redesigned to allow H4, H5, and H6 headings.

I've been searching a new, simple word processor for a long time. I HATE MS word. And today, I think I may have found it. It's perfect for simple notes and distraction-free longform writing.

Although we have not been able to replicate the bug, it is very likely that this is the reason. Perhaps GDrive is changing the modification date of the file, and that causes CalmlyWriter to reload it.

If you select text and type quotation marks or parentheses, the application will wrap the selected text with those characters.

i love discovering probably well known things. anyways, I use calmly writer to write my first/final draft for my fics and i just found out if you highlight a piece of text, hold shift and press the open/end quotemark button, it immediately quotes the whole highlighted sentence. anyways im at 10k words babes <33
