Yes, we have annual evaluation reports. One odd feature: the eval schedule is calendar year, while the promotion calendar is academic year 🤷‍♀️ Schedule aside, I’ve found these to be useful in several ways…

My personal observation is that many Russians have been quite literally brainwashed by their own govt-controlled media for over a decade. I wonder whether that’s been captured in any recent studies.

Just read that Zimbardo died 2 weeks ago. Psychology lost another giant. In 2019, I had the remarkable experience of meeting the man at APA. This will forever be one of my favorite professional memories.

I wish I could express, in proper haiku fashion, just how lovely it was to see folks, old friends and new, at #APLS2024 … but I’m afraid my travel-weary brain can’t hack it. Maybe after a good night’s sleep. #PsychLaw

This really jives with my experience in practice. We do okay (not great) with Justice-involved youth, but essentially ignore everyone else. The result is that forensic treatment with a trauma-informed approach is rare, and actual trauma treatment is seen as counterproductive.
