Almost like I thought about how this reform could be pitched and implemented while fixing the current situation and yet being a long term solution

This would result in 27 justices on SCOTUS, with 9 being selected at random per case and the option to appeal en-banc if there’s a 5-4 decision

Hear me out: 2 justices per circuit and 18 year SCOTUS terms where they “ride circuit” after their time on the high court—because actual term limits require an amendment. Oh and a “good behavior” evaluation that requires 2/3 majorities in both chambers to affirm their neutrality and competence.

Relative to the expectations given the relative blueness of their states, I’d say Polis is worse. Also Fetterman been trash since pulling a gun on a Black jogger.

As a Black person, I didn’t buy the Fetterman hype to begin with

Jared Polis has to be the most disappointing Democratic elected official compared to the pre-2024 expectations for him

And he was definitely online enough to know it!

Black trans women are the most marginalized in our community — so yeah, watching one be sidelined or erased in the narrative feels painfully familiar.
