But I didn’t think finding an air filter would be this fucking hard.
They ship outside the EU, but their site doesn’t calculate the shipping. Oh and you can only pay via wire transfer. I ordered it with my UK forwarder address and asked them to tell me the total. No response. Sent an email. Nothing. So I just transferred the payment total for shipping in Europe.
There’s a company in France making new filters that might be the same, but I’ve seen conflicting things.
I asked in every Facebook group: no dice.
But then on the spare parts website for a Saab shop in Germany they had a NOS one listed in stock. Great! Except…
The filter on the bottom there is a new mfg filter. Great! If you need it for a 99 it fits perfectly. If you need it for a cross ram, it won’t work because the top and bottom are different.
On the 99 it sits in the air cleaner, on the cross ram plates fit in recesses on the Mann and sandwich it.
So I’ve been on a wild goose chase for a second Mann C1966 air filter, because two are needed for the V4 Cross Ram Air boxes. The filters were only used for this and 1969-1973/4 Saab 99’s.
And I MAY have finally found one.

Short answer: yes.
Long answer: it could be, vertigo also can just…happen, for no apparent reason or known cause.
I’ve had it twice, both times I just woke up with it and nystagmus. I wasn’t sick, didn’t hit my head, it just happens.
And of course it was the two most expensive pieces

I have had vertigo twice and it is some of the absolute worst shit you can go through.
I would rather have Covid again than having to go through vertigo again.
