I don't mean to vaguepost about details, but I don't like discussing mechanisms to early drafts of my games. They're too unstable, and I don't want to get anyone excited about something that can get removed after the next playtest.
Of course, "simple" JavaScript is in the eye of the beholder, and some folks won't be comfortable taking that step.
Anyway, got a solo playtest down, and was able to make some cool tweaks. There's something here that can be special.
Still grinding away at my own version of Outpost, aka "Gilpost". Finally got enough attention span re-learn Screentop. I feel like you have to be comfortable enough with handling simple JavaScript to really use it with any kind of efficiency. Otherwise, it's a bear to use.

FYI for fellow narrative designers/game writers: the studio in question is Sentona Games and it’s my understanding they are currently interviewing to replace me. Be very careful with them. They were very nice to me and easy to work with right up until I needed the money I was promised.
