For those who have forgotten the past 40 years:
Tax cuts for the rich
...don’t trickle down
Boosting military spending
...doesn’t bring peace
Slashing regulations
...doesn’t create jobs
Folks, we’ve seen this all before.

He's also not the only problematic person from the show.
The intervening years have revealed a lot of unpleasantness that would color any revival.
If the Sun's pull increased enough to pull in Mercury, it's too late. The effects on the Moon, the tides, the seasons would make things pretty dang dire for humans. And not "wrap it up in 400 pages" dire, but "Game over, man! Game over!"
If you're worried about shipping, I'm sure something can be arranged through The Collective or through me! 😁

When Dems take the House and Senate, please put forward a bill making private detention facilities/prisons/jails illegal. For-profit facilities incentivize incarceration and poor care.
Republicans "supposedly worship at the cult of the Founders," but they don't "venerate the Founders’ beliefs and democratic principles"
they "project their contemporaneous views backwards onto men who have been dead for centuries" tell em @adamserwer.bsky.social

I have *two*! I loved the first one so much I sought out another one!
It absolutely will. "You took the space I *paid for* to give to bike riders who don't even pay road taxes!"
In the same way, adding lanes to multi-lane highways to reduce congestion and improve commute times actually does the opposite.

A Boston pencil sharpener that has a movable face plate that grips the pencil and feeds it into the sharpener as the crank is turned. This allows the user to hold the sharpener down with one hand and to turn the crank with the other.
A great pencil sharpener to give me a nicely sharpened pencil. #ThingsILike2026
FT comments section this morning - saying what everyone else is thinking, right?
"Why even have soldiers if you aren't going to use them!?"
It's not just soldiers, it's a pathology where what you do, your job, is who you are and you have no value beyond that.
So artists (at least living ones) aren't valued by the wealthy, but they'll drool over an old master.
Literally no one's mug cabinet is that neat.

I've been lucky enough to see it on the big screen twice!

There's a reason they're called chesticals!
Are AFAB and AMAB better or worse?
The sed coverage on that bun could be better.
A J6er, it appears. Which tracks so hard.
-No electioneering of any sort within 1000 yards of any polling place.
-Residency requirements cannot exceed 30 days. Moving shouldn't be a hindrance to voting at your new address.
I'm sure I can think of more, but that'd be a good start.
-No electronic ballots. All ballots are paper. Electronic tabulations are verified against the paper record.
-Polling places must be easily accessible, capable of handling 90+% turnout with minimal waits.
-In line by closing? You get to vote.
-No stupid "must be in this envelope, in this order, etc." nonsense.
-Ballots must be available in multiple languages.
-Ballots must be easy to understand and what constitutes a valid selection made clear.
-Mail in ballots must be free to mail, given delivery priority, postmarked at the point of dropoff, accepted up to 2 weeks post election day with valid election day or earlier postmark.
-Signature matching the only necessary check on identity.
Things I would change about voting in America
-Election Day is a holiday
-Early voting across the board. Minimum 3 weeks.
-Automatic registration on 18th birthday.
-Voting rights are permanent and cannot be revoked for any reason.
