Even with all the Anti-AI on my feed, something I rarely see is the hate for YouTube and other sites auto-AI translation features, specifically the auto dubbing. Every time I've seen it I've just actively avoided it. So much is lost in auto-dubbing and it being forced on everyone genuinely sucks.

I never really had any "huge" events or family gatherings for the holidays sans one or two years when I was younger, but something about this year just makes it feel even more isolating.

Nothing like the end-of-year holidays to remind me how shitty my home/family life is. Wahoo :/

I am once again begging people to stop projecting the fact that they’re miserable while playing video games onto others. Stop playing games that make you miserable and stop assuming/forcing everyone else to be miserable just because they play that game. Let people have fun.

* I say "hologram-inspired UI", I just mean the information-aware layouts and animations. Watch any of the Iron Man movies and pay attention to the holograms Tony uses, it all had purpose. Translate that to website UIs instead of holograms, and that's what I wish we had today.

I'm so tired of the AI look. Gradients used to mean something, now it's just a mark of AI. Emojis everywhere. Overly complex animations and styles that don't have any thought put into them outside of "looks cool".

The worst struggle is finally being able to put aside the horrible feelings for a day but still being unmotivated to create because the effects of survival mode still linger. Makes me feel nauseous whenever it happens.
