And by rich vampires, I mean actual billionaires. They are not immortal, but they are heirs - the real life equivalent of a vampire 😂
My main point, though, is that rich vampires were already rich before being vampires. Social mobility is very unlikely in capitalism; it's very hard for someone poor to become rich, and that's on purpose (there needs to be a massive amount of poor people for the few wealthy to continue being rich).
But it's true that a rich person would likely become even richer after turning into a vampire. Even a small investment would turn into a massive amount of money after centuries of compounding.
I'd bet that if someone poor turned into a vampire, they'd like get arrested and killed(with a stake through the heart 😄) before having the chance to become a wealthy person.
The vampire stereotype is typically portraited as a person who was rich even before turning into a vampire. Like Count Dracula, for example, who was a wealthy nobleman from a noble family.
