I framed it like a sysadmin:
✅ Push a tool
✅ Encrypt files
✅ Delete backups
✅ Use Mimikatz

ChatGPT walked me through all of it—without ever saying “ransomware.”

Last night I joined BSides Nashvilles Board of Directors as the new Treasurer. I’ve been working hard with this team over the last year in a sponsor coordinator role. Super excited and grateful to continue serving with this amazing team in a much bigger capacity!

I’ve found myself in this position of where I’m leading security, but I’m learning on the fly how to build and lead SRE and it’s oddly uncomfortably comfortable.

We’re massive users of all things AI at this point at my work, at a bare minimum, it’s a massive improvement to efficiencies.

While I wait for Netflix to come back to life during the fight, might as well shill my blog 🤷
