look forward to meeting you there :)
I encourage you to join. Happy to discuss if you'd like to send me a DM or Signal chat
are you an asc member?
heh. worth it imo. itβs so good you and your clients will do a triple take. at least for single-signature flows. i havenβt tested or used a multi-signature flow (although i lean to separate contracts for separate concerns). anyway, i could roll my own signature app, but not worth the time right now.
@antonsten.com you asked about docusign alternatives? i had my first experience with esignatures recently. it was wonderful.
esignatures.com
uh itβs like 2:30am here and idk why i woke up but iβm gonna blame sunshine and going to bed early
when i talk about how at-pro-to might help address epistemic fracture, and all i can think about is the epistemic fracture caused by bodega cats in my best of follows feed, ngl, it feels nice. that right there, it feels nice.
but like. what? is this punishment from on-high for unfollowing bodega cats? cute cats in my Best Of Follows feed? thatβs the punishment?
look, at the end of the day iβm not mad that there are bodega cats in my feed. in some ways, this is the best bug imaginable. i also feel gaslit. by bodega cats. which, if you want to feel gaslit by an account, i suggest bodega cats. theyβre perfect.
there is a bug in the Best Of Follows feed, where even though i unfollowed @bodegacats.bsky.social, i still see posts from @bodegacats.bsky.social. i have communicated with bsky support about it. and for a day or two i thought it was fixed. it has not been fixed.
This is the part where folks begin to understand that fact checking the feds and making a spectacle .
Doesnβt help when the SOCIETAL and powerful mechanism donβt believe a crime has been committed
And there has been no movement to rectify the base conditions

SXSW is next week!
If you're in Austin be sure to attend the conversation between @rabble.nz @bridgettodd.bsky.social and our own @rude1.blacksky.team discussing how decentralization can empower creators and open opportunities for sustainable social communities
RSVP schedule.sxsw.com/events/PP114...
The blacksky.community web application now uses our own API servers to load posts, timelines and profiles.
When data is missing (accounts on the edges of the network, outside of our primary community, etc) we leverage @microcosm.blue
Boston-area mutuals: I'll be giving the MIT HCI seminar this Tuesday at 4PM. I've got some open time on Wednesday morningβDM me if you'd like to chat! π
While much has been & can be said about the outsized impact our work tried to do (and all the stuff we weren't able to do)
In reality, I just miss getting to work with a cadre of smart, outstanding people who were trying to improve things for millions of people everyday.
the bias of a system is what it does
Everyone on the team is brilliant. @rude1.blacksky.team

Love this β
Iβm inspired most days by @cmooreanderson.bsky.socialβs work. I have a couple of his books. Christian is helping evolve the way education works. For the better.
Second-order h/t to @roneglash.bsky.social, who shared this with me.
βBlack liberation rests on the construction of a non-oppositional consciousness, unburdened by the need to endlessly challenge the fears, imaginative apprehension, oppression and entanglements of others.β
Just one of the many bangers in this piece!

Love to see it
for example, MCII (or similarly strategic foresight), when paired with Batesonβs Method (double description), provide a sort of language of applied abductive process and biosemiotics that iβve found very revealing when considering biomimicry in e.g. team topologies
the threaded post felt generative and sparked the cybersystemics connection for me. I love this type of transdisciplanary commentary because itβs so needed in the worlds of software engineering org design, and S&O. all these communities have much to learn from each other

cyberschismogenesis explains a lot.
as it relates to @strategytheory.com, i am very interested in emerging transdisciplinary communities of practice developing around cyberpsychosocial concerns such as cybersystemics

well, i guess technically management science was created by an academic institution funded by an asbestos conglomerate. tomayto, tomahto.
